Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Business Development at Enveda Biosciences is responsible for developing messaging strategies, identifying and evaluating strategic partners, creating presentation assets, and negotiating licensing deals and partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and pressure-test messaging strategy on platform technology and assets
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic partners and business development opportunities
- Create slide decks and assets for business development purposes in collaboration with scientific stakeholders
- Assist in negotiating and executing licensing deals, strategic partnerships, and other business transactions
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Business Administration, or other closely related fields, or a foreign equivalent, and five years of experience in the job offered or related occupations, or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields, and three years of experience in the job offered or related occupations.
- At least 3 years of experience using the Evaluate Pharma platform to help answer specific drug-related questions and develop and execute strategic plans to drive and achieve objectives as needed.
- At least 3 years of in-depth experience with the pharmaceutical industry, including conducting market research and staying up to date with regulations evolution.
- At least 3 years of experience analyzing financial data, statements, and reports to assess business performance and identify market trends through platforms such as AphaSense, 10-K and 10-Q reports, and DealForma.
- At least 3 years of experience establishing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders inside and outside of the company.
- At least 3 years of experience using Guidepoint GLG for Physicians Partner Insights for specific therapeutic areas and drugs, and familiarity with FDA and EMA websites for regulatory knowledge.
- Experience using CRM software to manage partner interactions and analyze customer data.
- The position requires the ability to develop and pressure-test messaging strategies on platform technology and assets.
- The ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic partners and business development opportunities.
- The ability to work with scientific stakeholders to create well-designed slide decks and other assets for business development.
- Experience assisting in the negotiation and execution of licensing deals, strategic partnerships, and other business development transactions.
- The position involves domestic and international travel, totaling 10-15 trips.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per year
Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
Travel requirement of 10-15 domestic and international trips
