Job Description

The Director of Client Success for the West and South Region at EnergyHub is responsible for managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction through the successful launch and operation of programs for electric utilities. This role involves strategic collaboration with various internal teams and leading a team of Client Success Managers to achieve operational excellence and meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own success for the West and South regions P&L by driving revenue and managing ARR.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee a team of Client Success Managers and ensure seamless program operations.
  • Work with Sales to design new program structures and improve existing tools.
  • Track and drive renewals and upsell efforts while developing key metrics.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and guide them through key decisions.
  • Support Product and Marketing in capturing customer and market feedback.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Communicate key results and facilitate meetings with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of demand management and product capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work and education experience.
  • 10 years of professional experience in technology energy services or account management with a strong preference for experience within a SaaS or enterprise software-related field, or in the energy or connected devices industry.
  • 7 years of demonstrated ability to lead and influence high-level decision-makers within utility organizations through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • Demonstrated experience of successful team leadership in a cross-functional work environment.
  • Exceptional project management experience in a commercial environment.
  • Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth.
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to succinctly translate complex topics across a wide range of audiences.
  • Successful hands-on work with clients that has resulted in engendering trust and building outstanding client and partner relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that involves ambiguity and greenfield initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel 25%.
