Job Description
The BESS Product Compliance Engineer will collaborate with the product design team to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards for Energy Vault's battery energy storage systems, serving as the primary contact for compliance inquiries and overseeing product testing at manufacturing facilities in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure BESS products meet safety and performance standards
- Serve as the main point of contact for compliance queries
- Oversee product testing at manufacturing and certification facilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in product compliance, specifically with energy storage systems.
- Knowledge of safety and performance standards applicable to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Ability to travel to manufacturing and certification facilities in China for product testing, including FATs and certification tests.
- Strong communication skills to act as the main point of contact for compliance queries both internally and externally.
