Job Description
The IT Helpdesk Technician I at Energy Solutions is responsible for providing IT support by responding to service requests, troubleshooting equipment and software issues, managing IT inventory, and assisting with audio-visual setups for meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to IT support requests including physical equipment setup and troubleshooting
- Provide basic troubleshooting for local and remote employees
- Respond to service desk tickets and provide solutions for reported customer problems
- Escalate higher-level requests to senior IT members as appropriate
- Assist with internal office moves and buildouts
- Support printer and scanner setup and troubleshoot related issues
- Log and track issues using the company ticketing system
- Maintain IT inventory and ensure hardware availability for incoming employees
- Assist in AV setups for meetings
Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate degree or at least 2 years of related experience in IT support services
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac OS X
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Ability to work and thrive independently
- Ability to interact successfully with internal clients
