Job Description
The Technical Asset Manager will oversee the performance, operations, and data systems of solar PV and energy storage assets, focusing on data management, system optimization, and strategic planning to maximize asset performance and ensure regulatory compliance within a dynamic clean energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the performance, operations, and optimization of PV and BESS assets.
- Oversee day-to-day technical asset management activities.
- Manage data systems including SCADA, monitoring portals, APIs, and networking systems.
- Participate in strategic planning related to asset operations.
- Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure regulatory compliance of assets.
Requirements
- Residency within the Northeast VT, NY, NH, ME, MA, CT, or RI is strongly preferred; consideration of new locations will be on a case-by-case basis.
- Motivated and detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage the performance, operations, data systems, and optimization of PV and BESS assets.
- Experience in managing data through technical systems such as SCADA, monitoring portals, APIs, and VPN access networking systems.
- Ability to perform day-to-day operations of technical asset management related to solar PV and energy storage assets.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including working closely with the accounting team on operational and financial performance intersections.
- Experience or ability to contribute to strategic planning related to the operations of solar and storage assets.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to solar and energy storage assets.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and external partners.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical systems and data management tools.
