Job Description
The AV Support Engineer provides first-line support for audiovisual systems at the Empire State Building, ensuring reliable performance for events and meetings, managing AV workflows, and delivering high-quality service across various building locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support audiovisual systems across The Empire State Building Observatory, amenity lounges, and conference rooms.
- Provide first-line IT AV support for hardware and software-related issues.
- Ensure reliable AV performance for events and meetings.
- Manage AV workflows and maintain exhibits.
- Deliver high-quality, white-glove service to users and clients.
Requirements
- Support audiovisual systems across The Empire State Building Observatory (ESBO), amenity lounges, and conference rooms.
- Provide prompt and accurate first line IT AV support, assisting with AV hardware and software-related questions, concerns, and tasks.
- Ensure reliable performance of AV systems for events and meetings.
- Manage AV workflows effectively.
- Maintain exhibits related to AV systems.
- Deliver white-glove service to clients and staff.
- Work on an afternoon/evening shift, five days a week on site.
- Provide holiday coverage as required.
- Work overtime and double-time pay when applicable.
