Job Description
ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Strong Middle / Senior Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript) in Poland, Croatia, and Ukraine.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artefacts
- Prepare and acquire test data
- Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
- Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
- Use automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools
- Provide automation test environment setup
- Review test artefacts developed by others
- Contribute to automation process control definition and improvement
- Provide new automation tools or approaches investigation and implementation
- Provide test documentation creation
- Communicate with a customer
Requirements
- 5+ years of software testing experience, including significant hands-on test automation experience
- Strong experience in API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing
- Experience setting up and maintaining mock servers and stubs for external service integrations
- Ability to extend automation coverage from backend services to frontend applications
- Good understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive mindset with ownership of test infrastructure and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Excellent communication skills
