Job Description
A Program Portfolio Manager responsible for overseeing software development projects in the biopharma industry, supporting pharmaceutical research and manufacturing processes, with a requirement to work onsite in Göttingen, Germany one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the program portfolio related to biopharma process automation projects.
- Coordinate with onsite and remote teams to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Support the development and implementation of software solutions for drug and vaccine manufacturing.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards within the program portfolio.
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Gottingen, Germany, 1 day per week
- Experience in program or portfolio management within the pharmaceutical or laboratory equipment industry
- Proven experience in developing and managing software solutions for biopharma process automation, including drug and vaccine manufacturing
- Strong understanding of the transition process from development to large-scale production in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to support pharmaceutical researchers and laboratory professionals in streamlining workflows, reducing human error, and accelerating project progress
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a software development environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams
- Educational background or professional experience relevant to project or program management in a technical or pharmaceutical context
