Job Description
A Design Engineer Intern at Electrified Thermal Solutions will contribute to scaling up a renewable energy thermal storage system from 1 MW to 5 MW capacity, gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge energy technology within a collaborative startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scaling up the 1 MW demonstration system to a 5 MW capacity
- Support the design and development of renewable energy thermal systems
- Collaborate with engineering team to refine system components and processes
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work on a project involving scaling up a 1 MW Commercial Demonstration Product System to a 5 MW First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) capacity.
- Strong interest in renewable energy technology and energy storage systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an engineering team and report to the Lead Design Engineer.
