• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management:
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for high-value CapEx categories (e.g., Chillers, CDUs, Generators, Switchgear, and IT Hardware).
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate single-source risks.
• Lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) and complex contract negotiations, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), warranty terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• 2. Supply Planning & Inventory Control:
• Collaborate with Engineering and Capacity Planning teams to translate technical roadmaps into accurate material forecasts.
• Manage "Open-to-Buy" budgets and optimize inventory levels to balance working capital against the risk of stockouts during critical build phases.

• 3. Vendor Performance & Relationship Management:
• conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, lead time, and innovation.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for supply disruptions, utilizing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• 4. Logistics & Compliance:
• Oversee complex global logistics, ensuring the safe and compliant transport of heavy infrastructure equipment across international borders (managing Incoterms, customs, and duties).
• Ensure all vendors adhere to [Company Name]’s sustainability and ethical sourcing standards.
• Basic Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a technical environment (Data Centers, Construction, Manufacturing, or Hardware).
• Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of negotiating multi-million dollar contracts with favorable terms.
• Analytical Skills: proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) to drive decision-making.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Certifications: CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (Ariba/S4HANA) , Oracle , or Coupa .
• Technical familiarity with mechanical or electrical infrastructure (ability to read basic specs and understand BOMs).
