Job Description
The Data Center Cooling and Thermodynamics Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing cooling systems and thermodynamic processes for innovative, hydrogen-powered, off-grid green data centers supporting AI and machine learning workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize cooling systems for data centers with a focus on thermodynamics and hydrogen power integration
- Develop and implement green power generation systems for data centers
- Ensure data center cooling and power systems meet high uptime and efficiency standards
Requirements
- Experience in designing, developing, or working with data center cooling systems and thermodynamics, with a focus on hydrogen-powered off-grid green data centers.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics principles as they apply to data center cooling and power generation systems.
- Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of hydrogen-powered off-grid green data center solutions.
- Experience with high-availability data center systems, specifically ensuring 99.999% uptime.
- Understanding of AI and Machine Learning infrastructure requirements to ensure cooling and thermodynamic systems meet these demands.
- Experience in working with modular architecture data center construction platforms, particularly those that are repeatable from 1-2MW and larger sites.
- Educational background or equivalent experience relevant to engineering, thermodynamics, or related fields (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
- Ability to work on-site in a data center environment, which may include physical demands related to construction or maintenance activities.
