Job Description
A Business Development Representative at DroneDeploy is responsible for initiating contact with prospects, generating demand through outbound outreach, and supporting the growth of the company's customer base by engaging with target accounts via cold calls, emails, and social media, while collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospects interested in the platform
- Fuel the outbound sales pipeline through cold calling, personalized emailing, and social engagement
- Prioritize follow-up with inbound leads from marketing campaigns
- Provide actionable feedback on prospect interactions
- Connect with target accounts aligned by Demand Generation and Sales
- Contribute to the development and evolution of sales and marketing processes
Requirements
- Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, personalized emailing, and social engagement to generate new demand and expand customer base.
- Ability to serve as the first point of contact for prospects expressing interest in the platform and play a pivotal role in fueling the outbound sales pipeline.
- Prior experience in prioritizing timely follow-up with inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
- Ability to provide actionable feedback on prospect interactions.
- Strong communication skills to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and internal teams.
- Demonstrated competitive spirit, collaborative mindset, and initiative to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
