The Technologist - Mechanical Design Engineering at Diamond Foundry Inc. is responsible for leading the design and development of plasma-enhanced CVD reactor equipment and systems used in diamond growth, managing multiple R&D projects and teams to advance innovative manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and systems for diamond growth and manufacturing.
Lead multiple high-visibility R&D projects within the Reactor Development Group.
Manage and coordinate teams to ensure successful project execution and development outcomes.
Requirements
Experience leading multiple projects and teams with a strong track record of success in mechanical design engineering.
Experience designing and developing Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and other systems used in the growth and manufacture of diamond.
Proven ability to lead high-visibility R D projects within a company’s Reactor Development Group.
Complete understanding of the design and development of systems used in diamond growth and manufacturing processes.
Ability to support and implement safety policies, practices, and procedures in manufacturing and engineering environments.
Physical capability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
Ability to use ladders or stairs when required for tasks.
Ability to drive or use foot controls when required for tasks.
Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
