Job Description
A senior mechanical engineer role focused on designing and integrating automation systems, robotics, and precision equipment for handling and processing semiconductor-grade diamonds in a cutting-edge foundry environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of automation systems for handling, processing, and characterizing semiconductor-grade diamonds.
- Design and integrate semiconductor equipment, robotics, motion control systems, and computer vision technologies for precise operations.
- Apply expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment design and build to support production processes.
Requirements
- An experienced and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in semiconductor equipment design and build.
- Deep expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment design and build.
- A solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering.
- Ability to lead the development of automation systems for handling, processing, and characterizing semiconductor-grade diamonds in a foundry environment.
- Experience in the design and integration of semiconductor equipment, robotics, motion control systems, and computer vision technologies for highly precise operations.
- Physical ability to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- The position requires the ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
