Senior/Principal Laser Process Engineer

• Optimize laser processes to deliver high yields of diamond parts that have high dimensional stability • Lead significant projects around process improvement to enable scaling of manufacturing • Hands-on experiments with both laser and motion control equipment • Analyzing complex data and coming up with actionable insights and solutions • Communicating with team members to align actions with overall production goals

• Advanced degree in Materials Science,, Applied Physics (materials, laser or optics focus), or Engineering with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. • Experiences with mass production of diamond, semiconductors, and/or ceramics. • Expertise with applying optical fundamentals, laser materials processing and resolving technical problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Experience with maintaining, tuning, scripting and programming motion control equipment • Possesses knowledge of optics and optical principles. And, experience deploying optics and laser based processes or products
