Job Description
The Senior Accountant will support and improve various aspects of the company's general accounting practices, handling multiple areas of the accounting cycle to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and improve various aspects of the general accounting practice
- Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting efficient and effective accounting processes
- Manage multiple areas of the accounting cycle for different business units
Requirements
- Solid operational and technical accounting background with the ability to assist and improve various aspects of the general accounting practice.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues that hinder efficient and effective accounting processes to meet corporate and departmental goals.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey accounting information and collaborate with team members.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling financial information.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask as involved with each area of the accounting cycle for a variety of businesses.
- Experience with the full accounting cycle across multiple business units or entities.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that include sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Capability to use ladders or stairs when required for tasks.
- Ability to drive or use foot controls when necessary for specific tasks.
- Physical strength to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S., confirmed through participation in E-Verify and completion of Form I-9.
