Job Description
A Process Engineer at Diamond Foundry is responsible for working with complex plasma CVD manufacturing equipment to produce single-crystal diamond wafers, focusing on performance characterization, stability improvement, and continuous process enhancements in a fast-growing, environmentally sustainable tech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain complex semiconductor-style plasma CVD manufacturing equipment
- Characterize equipment performance and process stability
- Identify and implement incremental improvements to production metrics
- Ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with mechanical, chemical, and materials engineers to optimize processes
Requirements
- Experience working with complex semiconductor-style plasma CVD manufacturing equipment, including hands-on work with the equipment.
- Ability to characterize performance, improve stability, and make incremental improvements to production metrics in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong focus on quality control and continuous improvement processes.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with an experienced team of mechanical, chemical, and materials engineers.
- Demonstrated ambition and versatility in engineering roles, with the ability to gain experience in different areas related to process engineering.
