We’re looking for a People & Culture Generalist to support a fast-paced, high-trust startup environment in a highly technical manufacturing company.

Partner with managers and leadership to support employee experience, team effectiveness, and organizational growth
Own and improve core People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and HR systems administration
Build and scale HR policies, workflows, and infrastructure with an ownership mindset and focus on continuous improvement
Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices

3–6 years of experience in HR Generalist, People Operations, or HRBP-adjacent roles
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, California labor law, and FLSA classification (hourly vs. salaried)
Experience handling employee relations (ER), investigations, and confidential matters
Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments
Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, Gusto, or similar) and comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
