Job Description
The IT Data Systems Technician will support and maintain the IT infrastructure at Diamond Foundry's manufacturing site in Trujillo, Spain, focusing on service desk, systems, networking, and security tools to ensure efficient and secure data-driven manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- •Set up and support IT systems and infrastructure at the manufacturing site
- •Provide service desk support to users and troubleshoot technical issues
- •Support and maintain network systems and connectivity
- •Operate and implement security tools to protect IT assets and data
- •Assist in automating information systems and processes
- •Collaborate with engineering teams to support data-driven manufacturing processes
- •Contribute to the deployment and integration of IT equipment and systems for the new site
Requirements
- •Experience in providing support for service desk, systems, and networking support in a manufacturing or data-driven environment.
- •Ability to operate and implement security tools related to IT systems and networks.
- •Proficiency in supporting and maintaining IT equipment, endpoints, and data systems to ensure maximum efficiency and automation.
- •Experience in supporting users and assisting engineers with IT-related issues and projects.
- •Ability to develop and follow clear and intuitive procedures for IT operations.
- •Experience in supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure in a new manufacturing site environment.
- •Ability to work collaboratively with an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, metrology, and software engineers, as well as with a US-based IT team.
- •Strong understanding of data-driven manufacturing processes and the role of IT equipment in following material from end to end.
- •Ability to support the implementation and operation of security tools to maintain a high degree of security in IT systems.
- •Willingness to support the setup and support of IT systems at the Trujillo, Spain manufacturing location.
- •Ability to contribute to IT projects aimed at achieving maximum efficiency and automation in a manufacturing setting.
