Job Description
A Facilities Mechanical Engineer responsible for overseeing and managing facility infrastructure, utility systems, and support projects in a high-tech diamond manufacturing environment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage facility infrastructure and utility systems in diamond singulation operations
- Plan, execute, and optimize projects related to process cooling water, UPS, HVAC, gas distribution, and electrical infrastructure
- Collaborate with facilities team, contractors, tool install teams, and process engineers to ensure project completion
- Ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards for facility systems and infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in overseeing and managing facility infrastructure, utility systems, and critical support projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience planning, executing, and optimizing projects related to process cooling water systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), HVAC systems, ultra-high-purity gas distribution, and electrical infrastructure.
- Ability to ensure uninterrupted, efficient, and high-tech manufacturing operations through effective project management.
- Experience working closely with facilities teams, contractors, tool install teams, and process engineers to drive project execution.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards.
