Job Description
The Development Engineer will investigate and enhance Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding manufacturing processes for diamond surface finishing technology, working hands-on with equipment and collaborating with a team of engineers in a cutting-edge tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Perform hands-on work with Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding manufacturing equipment.
- Design, execute, and interpret experiments related to surface finishing technology.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments related to manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work a permanent shift from Wednesday through Sunday.
- Physical ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Compliance with safety policies, practices, and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. as confirmed through E-Verify.
