Job Description
The Data Scientist at Diamond Foundry Inc. will enhance data collection, analysis, and visualization to support financial performance tracking and e-commerce optimization, collaborating with finance and e-commerce teams to drive data-driven initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen and grow data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities
- Track financial performance and optimize e-commerce operations
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and e-commerce teams
- Support and lead data-driven initiatives to enhance decision-making
- Identify growth opportunities and streamline operations
- Improve data ingestion and extraction techniques
- Standardize reporting processes
- Ensure accuracy and security of financial and operational data
Requirements
- Detail-oriented, hands-on Data Scientist to strengthen and grow data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
- Experience in tracking financial performance, optimizing e-commerce operations, and reporting on key business metrics.
- Ability to collaborate with a team of finance, accounting, and e-commerce professionals.
- Experience in supporting and leading various data-driven initiatives to enhance decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and streamline operations.
- Proven ability to improve data ingestion and extraction techniques, standardize reporting processes, and ensure the accuracy and security of financial and operational data.
- Physical requirements include: sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and participate in E-Verify.
