Job Description

An Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, prototyping, and integrating electrical and electromechanical systems for direct air carbon capture reactors and related test infrastructure, working hands-on with hardware in a mission-driven environment focused on combating climate change.

Key Responsibilities

Design electrical and electromechanical systems for Direct Air Carbon Capture reactors and test infrastructure
Analyze and prototype electrical systems to ensure functionality and robustness
Integrate electrical systems with hardware-in-the-loop digital twin systems
Work hands-on with hardware to troubleshoot and improve system performance

Requirements

Design, analyze, prototype, and integrate electrical and electromechanical systems for Direct Air Carbon Capture reactors and the supporting test infrastructure including hardware-in-the-loop digital twin systems.
Work onsite in Los Angeles, CA as part of Deep Sky's R D Engineering Team.
Possess a passion for building robust systems and solving complex engineering challenges.
Work hands-on with hardware and demonstrate comfort with working directly with physical systems.
Be willing to learn from failures and iterate on designs as part of the development process.
