Job Description
The Senior Controls Engineer serves as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and related controls infrastructure supporting CyrusOne's global data center portfolio.
Requirements
- Translate customer requirements, operational requirements, and technical standards into clear engineering design criteria and controls requirements.
- Support customer design reviews and participate in technical discussions with hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation customers.
- Coordinate closely with design consultants and Engineers of Record to ensure customer requirements are incorporated into project deliverables.
- Support development of standardized controls requirements and design approaches across CyrusOne's global data center portfolio.
- Experience supporting hyperscale, cloud, colocation, or other mission-critical facilities.
- Experience with facility modernization, expansion, or capacity enhancement projects.
- Experience developing engineering standards, design guidelines, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar engineering and design tools.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure preferred.
