Job Description
We are seeking a Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform operations and maintenance activities for critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems.
Utilize and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Execute and adhere to approved SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and MMRs to ensure safe and reliable facility operations.
Respond to equipment alarms, troubleshoot issues, perform corrective actions, and support root cause analysis efforts.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to safely execute maintenance projects, repairs, and system upgrades.
Perform critical switching, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and other operational procedures while prioritizing the protection of critical load and personnel safety.
Maintain compliance with company, customer, environmental health and safety (EHS), and regulatory requirements.
Support facility capacity planning, reporting activities, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
Ensure high standards of workmanship and operational excellence across all assigned maintenance activities.
Requirements
HVAC, Journeyman Electrician, or Master Electrician certification.
Experience with capacity planning, KPI reporting, and critical facility performance metrics.
Knowledge of Visio, AutoCAD, building automation systems (BAS), and data center monitoring systems.
