Job Description
Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking Summer Associates to support the East Development team in managing the development of solar and storage projects, including site selection, market analysis, and project lifecycle management over a 12-week internship.
Responsibilities
- •Support the East Development team in managing solar and storage project development.
- •Conduct quantitative analyses including cash flow modeling and market forecasting.
- •Perform qualitative analyses such as market conditions and regulatory analysis.
- •Collaborate with utilities, municipalities, and external consultants to enhance development assets.
- •Work cross-functionally with project development, finance, operations, and analytics teams.
- •Conduct due diligence on greenfield development and project acquisition opportunities.
- •Prepare project sales marketing materials and internal Investment Committee memos.
Requirements
- •Current 1st year or 2nd year graduate student in a dual degree program in a relevant field of study such as MBA, MEM, MPP, etc.
- •BA or BS degree, preferably in a relevant field such as economics, political science, public administration, urban planning, engineering, or environmental studies.
- •Demonstrated interest in the energy sector, particularly in project development.
- •2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- •Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills.
- •Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- •Ability to collaborate between multiple departments with varying priorities.
- •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
