Job Description
The Manager, Interconnection is responsible for managing and coordinating the generation interconnection process for renewable energy projects, including applications, studies, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement, to support the development and construction of solar, energy storage, and natural gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and lead the generation interconnection process for renewable energy projects.
- Oversee application submission, study agreement processes, and communicate study results.
- Track and ensure timely execution of interconnection queue milestones and agreements.
- Coordinate with utilities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to obtain interconnection approvals.
- Support project development, acquisition, and financing activities through interconnection expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to develop transmission solutions and maintain tracking tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with project management software.
- Ability to work in the Dana Point, Salt Lake City, or Lake Oswego office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
