Job Description
Copia Power is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage accounts payable processes, vendor contracts, and financial reporting, while collaborating with the Corporate Finance team. The role requires a proactive individual with a background in accounting or finance, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and execute accounts payable processes to manage risk.
- Improve accounts payable processes across the Corporate Finance organization.
- Create tracking processes to ensure payments are made according to contracts.
- Perform wire callbacks to ensure wire instructions are complete and accurate.
- Assist in project financing by pulling project costs and related invoice support.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis.
Requirements
- 3 years professional experience in accounting, finance, or accounts payable, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work out of the Lake Oswego, OR office a minimum of 3 days per week.
