Job Description
The role involves performing manufacturing welding work for high-field superconducting magnets at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, primarily during weekend night shifts, contributing to the development of fusion energy technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets
- Operate welding equipment to meet specifications and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with safety and export control regulations during welding processes
Requirements
- Experience performing manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets or similar advanced technological components.
- Availability to work the second shift hours from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, specifically on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights.
- Willingness to work on-site at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities.
- Ability to comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws), with any employment offer contingent upon compliance.
- Demonstrated commitment to working in fast-paced environments and aligning with company values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation rate of $30 - $41 per hour
