Job Description
The role involves performing manufacturing welding work for high-field superconducting magnets at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, supporting the company's mission to develop fusion energy technology. The position is on the first shift, working weekends, with a focus on precision welding in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets
Requirements
- Must have experience performing manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets.
- Must be available to work the weekend first shift hours from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
- Must be able to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
- Must be willing to accept a pay rate between 30 and 41 dollars per hour, including a 15% differential.
- Must comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
