Job Description

A technician role focused on developing, building, and supporting superconducting magnets and related components for fusion energy technology, requiring hands-on skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. The position involves contributing to the design, assembly, and maintenance of critical fusion system equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and support superconducting magnets used in fusion technology
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment related to fusion energy systems
  • Assist in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of fusion components and systems

Requirements

  • Experience as a technician who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments
  • Ability to develop, build, and support superconducting magnets as part of the core technology
  • Willingness to be considered for roles such as Production Technician, R D Technician, Assembly Specialist, Fiber Optic Specialist, RF Technician, or Commissioning Technician
  • Demonstrated motivation to join a mission-driven organization focused on clean energy and fusion technology
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and bring diverse perspectives to problem-solving
