The Staff Supplier Integration Manager is responsible for integrating suppliers into early product design, managing procurement activities, and optimizing schedule, cost, and quality for fusion energy projects, with a focus on supply chain strategy and supplier management in a low-TRL environment.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate suppliers into early product design stages
Ensure flawless execution of procurement contracts
Optimize supply chain schedule, cost, and quality
Manage strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, and supplier relationships
Define and execute supply chain strategy for the molten salt blanket
Represent CFS in interactions with suppliers and external audiences
Requirements
Experience in technical sourcing and supplier management, with the ability to speak the language of engineers and marshal internal and external resources in support of project objectives.
Accountability for supply chain activities including strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, and supplier management for ARC and other project products.
Experience in defining and executing supply chain strategies, specifically for the molten salt blanket.
Experience working in uncertain, unstructured, low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) environments.
Ability to identify and understand new trends and technologies through curiosity and creativity.
Demonstrated experience representing an organization at all levels within supplier and external audiences.
Proven ability to integrate suppliers into early stages of product design and ensure flawless execution of procurement contracts.
Experience in optimizing schedule, cost, and quality in supply chain activities.
Educational background or equivalent experience relevant to supply chain management, engineering, or related fields (implied but not explicitly specified).
