Job Description

A Senior Technical Project Manager responsible for leading superconducting research and development projects in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering innovative fusion energy solutions and ensuring compliance with export control laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee superconducting R&D projects to ensure timely delivery and achievement of technical goals
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate project progress to stakeholders
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for superconducting research initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience as a Technical Project Manager with a results-driven approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage technical projects, specifically in research and development (R D) teams related to superconducting technologies.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with the ability to ensure compliance with these laws.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage projects in a manner that aligns with the company's mission to deliver fusion energy solutions.
  • Demonstrated skills in leading diverse teams, offering fresh perspectives, and solving tough problems in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working in or with the energy industry, fusion energy, or related high-technology sectors is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Ability to work onsite in Milpitas, CA, as this role requires onsite presence.
