The Senior Financial Analyst at Commonwealth Fusion Systems will support the company's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, collaborating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, analyze variances, and contribute to long-term financial strategy development in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support various functions by providing timely and accurate financial data on budgets, resourcing, and actual results
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate budget mapping and data integrity
Monitor purchase orders and analyze budget variances
Contribute to the financial reporting process
Help set long-term financial strategy and develop understanding of product unit economics
Requirements
Experience supporting various functions and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders within a finance or FP&A team.
Ability to support the development of the company's long-term financial strategy, including understanding of product unit economics.
Experience working with budget leaders to monitor purchase orders and analyze budget variances.
Proficiency in ensuring data integrity and supporting process improvement related to financial data and budgeting.
Experience contributing to the financial reporting process.
Strong understanding of budgets, resourcing, and actual financial results.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
