A detail-oriented Metrology Technician responsible for performing laser scanning and CMM inspections to support the production and assembly of fusion energy components, ensuring high-quality data for validation and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Perform advanced laser scanning and CMM inspections to support production and assembly.
Generate high-quality scan and inspection data for validation and troubleshooting.
Ensure precision and accurate documentation of inspection results.
Requirements
Must be a detail-oriented, hands-on Metrology Technician capable of performing advanced laser scanning and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections in support of SPARC production and assembly.
Must generate high-quality scan and inspection data that enables the metrology engineering team to validate builds, troubleshoot issues, and keep production moving to deadline.
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, taking pride in precision and documentation.
Must be eager to cross-train and grow within the Quality Control department.
Must be available to work the second shift hours from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
Must be able to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems' location.
Must comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, known as Export Control Laws, as a condition of employment.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $30 - $38 per hour with a $30 differential
Work schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
