The Lead NDT Technician will oversee a team responsible for ensuring the quality of critical welds and materials used in the SPARC fusion project, supporting the company's mission to develop commercially viable fusion energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee a team of NDT technicians to ensure quality of welds and materials
Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections on critical welds and materials
Maintain and ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols
Coordinate testing activities and report on inspection results
Ensure adherence to export control laws and regulations related to technology and information
Requirements
Experience leading a team of NDT technicians responsible for ensuring the quality of critical welds and materials for use in a fusion energy project.
Proficiency in nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques relevant to welds and materials used in fusion power plant components.
Ability to ensure compliance with export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information.
Demonstrated motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
