Job Description
The Financial Analyst will support the company's financial planning and analysis functions by managing budgets, analyzing variances, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with internal teams to inform strategic decision-making and improve financial processes within a fast-paced fusion energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support various functions by providing timely and accurate financial information on budgets, resourcing, and actual results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate budget mapping, data integrity, and process improvements.
- Monitor purchase orders, analyze budget variances, and contribute to the financial reporting process.
- Assist in developing the company's long-term financial strategy, including understanding product unit economics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience supporting financial planning and analysis functions, including working with budgets, resourcing, and analyzing actual results.
- Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and support various functions within the organization.
- Experience in monitoring purchase orders and analyzing budget variances.
- Proficiency in contributing to the financial reporting process.
- Understanding of developing and analyzing product unit economics to support long-term financial strategy.
- Experience working with data integrity, budget mapping, and process improvement across organizational teams.
- Ability to ensure compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, specifically Export Control Laws.
- Engagement with budget leaders and support in financial analysis and reporting activities.
