Job Description

The CAD Design Engineer will design, develop, and build tooling, machinery, and equipment for HTS manufacturing systems, supporting the development of fusion energy technology at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and build tooling, machinery, and equipment for HTS manufacturing
  • Create CAD models and drawings for manufacturing systems and components
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize design for manufacturability and performance

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and build tooling, machinery, and equipment for the HTS manufacturing process using CAD software.
  • Possess experience in CAD design relevant to tooling, machinery, or equipment development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws) is required, and employment is contingent upon adherence to these laws.
