Job Description

The Associate Vacuum Systems Engineer will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of vacuum pumping systems at the SPARC fusion energy plant, ensuring functional availability through planned maintenance and repairs, while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission SPARC Vacuum Pumping Systems
  • Execute planned maintenance and repairs of vacuum equipment
  • Collaborate with Operations, Plant Maintenance, Quality, and other departments

Requirements

  • Electromechanical hands-on skills to be onboarded as Vacuum Systems Technician for SPARC.
  • Initial responsibility for the installation and commissioning of the SPARC Vacuum Pumping Systems.
  • Execute planned maintenance and repairs of vacuum equipment to ensure SPARC functional availability.
  • Close cooperation with Operations, Plant Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
