Job Description
The Senior Analyst Associate, Strategy is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform enterprise-level decision-making, providing strategic recommendations based on business performance data, and supporting corporate development and organic growth initiatives. This role involves problem-solving, financial modeling, project management, and leveraging advanced data analytics technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform enterprise-level decision-making.
- Gather, organize, interpret, and report large amounts of business performance data.
- Make strategic and actionable recommendations for business managers and executives.
- Support analysis and development of organic growth areas complementary to core business segments.
- Conduct research and analysis for potential partnership, investment, or acquisition opportunities.
- Provide thought partnership and best practices for operational changes and AI tool implementation.
- Develop financial analysis and materials for continuous improvement programs.
- Lead key initiatives through project management and cross-functional coordination.
- Analyze business issues, identify root causes, and provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another technically focused discipline
- 2 years in Strategy Management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets experience
- Strong comprehension of business concepts and tools (financial statements, break-even, cost benchmarking, pricing, sensitivity analysis, NPV, ROI)
- Ability to solve practical problems in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrated capacity for gathering and analyzing data to identify issues and opportunities
- Ability to prepare high-impact presentations for senior leaders
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in MS Office, with expert-level PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Some coding experience (e.g., SQL, VBA, R, Python) preferred
- Some experience in leveraging Gen-AI LLMs applied to business problems preferred
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Policy, or another applicable field for Associate role (if applying for Associate position)
- 2 additional years in strategy management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets experience for Associate role
