Job Description
The Procurement Sourcing Manager for Strategic Procurement Wind is responsible for managing vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing contract administration specifically for wind industry projects. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to develop procurement strategies and maintain relationships with EPC contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requests for proposals and requests for information.
- Manage vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Support ongoing contract administration for wind industry EPC agreements.
- Maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and manage EPC contracts.
- Document price forecasts for balance of plant costs and key commodities.
- Analyze market trends to inform procurement strategies.
- Review contract scopes to ensure clarity and understanding.
- Interface with EPC contractors for market intelligence.
- Perform EPC performance reviews to assess risks and opportunities.
- Manage the development of RFP documentation and bidding strategies.
- Support the evaluation of bid responses for compliance.
- Negotiate EPC agreements regarding scope, price, and terms.
- Track and report on cost movements during negotiations.
- Coordinate with internal teams on material changes to agreements.
- Support domestic content strategy for PTC and ITC qualified projects.
- Assist with project financing processes and inputs from OEMs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in contract management, procurement, engineering, or related field required
- Eight or more years of wind EPC contracting experience
- In-depth understanding of turbine technology
- Repower contracting and negotiations experience in Wind industry projects
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Project management skills working with large-scale wind development projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of contract language
- Proficient in MS SharePoint, MS Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and document control
- A minimum of two or more years of solar and BESS or other related experience

Compensation/salary range: 106,000 - 138,000 USD
Hybrid work schedule: in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, remote work option available
