The Operations Maintenance Planner supports maintenance planning, scheduling, and process optimization to enhance asset reliability and operational performance across energy assets, with roles ranging from entry-level support to independent leadership in complex planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine detailed work plans for maintenance activities, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance work to align with operational needs, minimizing disruptions.
Onboard new plants into SAP S/4HANA, configuring master data and preventive maintenance plans.
Analyze maintenance performance data to identify trends and implement improvements.
Maintain data accuracy and compliance within SAP, including maintenance history, equipment details, and inventory.
Lead the development and automation of annual maintenance plans and Bills of Materials in SAP.
Facilitate training on SAP processes, work management, and data analysis for relevant teams.
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure alignment on planning and scheduling requirements.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (for Planner I)
3 years of relevant experience (for Planner II)
Ability to develop and refine detailed work plans for maintenance activities, assessing labor, equipment, and material requirements to optimize resource allocation (for Planner II)
Ability to independently develop comprehensive outage schedules and maintenance plans (for Planner II)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (for Planner II)
Strong working knowledge of SAP S 4 HANA or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems (for Planner II)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings independently (for Planner II)
Ability to coordinate multiple activities under guidance (for Planner I)
Willingness to learn SAP S 4 HANA and interpret mechanical electrical drawings (for Planner I)
Ability to support creation of detailed work plans for maintenance activities, including labor, equipment, and material requirements, utilizing data analysis to drive efficient scheduling (for Planner I)
Support the onboarding of new plants into SAP S 4 HANA by setting up master data and PMs, ensuring accurate data configuration (for Planner I)
Assist in maintaining SAP data quality and compliance by verifying maintenance history, equipment details, and user data (for Planner I)
Participate in data collection and analysis on estimated vs. actual work duration, equipment use, and manpower allocation, and contribute to process improvements (for Planner I)
Support the development and automation of Annual Maintenance Plans in SAP S 4 HANA, coordinating with engineering teams (for Planner I)
Assist in monitoring material locations and inventory within SAP (for Planner I)
Support in implementing engineering changes and development of Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP (for Planner I)
Generate and contribute to weekly and monthly status reports, KPIs, and variance analysis (for Planner I)
Lead the scheduling of planned and emergent maintenance activities, working closely with field operations (for Planner II)
Validate and configure data, PMs, and workflows for new plants onboarding into SAP S 4 HANA (for Planner II)
Lead analysis of maintenance performance data and implement data-driven improvements (for Planner II)
Contribute to the development of KPIs and metrics to monitor maintenance effectiveness and asset reliability (for Planner II)
Ensure high standards of SAP data integrity and compliance (for Planner II)
Design and implement custom SAP Variants to enhance planning capabilities (for Planner II)
Lead the development of detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP, establishing and maintaining logical plant hierarchy (for Planner II)
