Job Description
The Manager, Procurement is responsible for leading negotiations and managing operational and long-term service agreements for renewable energy projects, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to optimize contract value and support the company's clean energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations and manage operational and long-term service agreements for wind, solar, and battery storage projects
- Develop, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts to maximize value and support organizational objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to structure project agreements and amendments
- Maintain and manage contract records, correspondence, and documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters with suppliers and stakeholders
- Monitor contracts for renewal, extension, or close-out and resolve related issues
- Support stakeholders with contract interpretation and escalate contractual issues as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve contract processes and implement changes with stakeholders
- Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers under long-term service agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or procurement
- Three or more years of O M or asset management contracting experience
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the business and industry, and a solid understanding of legal concepts
- Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team
- People-management or related leadership experience
- Possesses a strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and agility to manage multiple projects with shifting timelines
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, logic, and reason in resolving conflicts and solving business problems
- Capable of comprehending the company’s risk appetite and ensuring contracts reflect such risk position

Salary range of $105,000 to $145,000 USD depending on location, skills, and experience
