Job Description
The Manager of Asset Management will oversee the financial and commercial management of distributed and community solar projects across the U.S., ensuring budget control, value optimization, and risk mitigation throughout the operational lifecycle of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the P&L and cash position for all generating assets within the assigned portfolio.
- Review monthly operational performance and financial variance reports.
- Develop annual project budgets and update monthly accrual and cash forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with project agreements and resolve contractual issues.
- Manage commercial issues and negotiate contracts to improve asset performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Manage third-party Operations & Maintenance providers.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts for underperforming assets.
Requirements
- 5 years of energy industry experience in asset management, O&M management, project administration, business administration, project management, contract administration, project finance, or other commercial role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Strong business and financial savvy
- Ability to collaborate with operational and technical teams
- Ability to perform well under pressure and occasionally work extended hours
- Ability to think creatively and manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of renewable financial models and the full capital stack (tax equity, debt, and cash equity)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience managing Community and Distributed solar projects (preferred)
- Experience managing O&M providers (preferred)
- MBA is highly desirable

Salary Range: 125,000 - 155,000 USD
