Job Description
The Audit Intern will assist the internal audit team with various projects, including site visits and process streamlining through Excel automation, gaining hands-on experience in risk assessment, internal controls, and professional development within a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist internal audit staff with various projects and tasks.
- Support the planning and execution of site visits.
- Streamline internal audit projects and tasks through Excel automation.
- Present final project findings and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Knowledge of data analytics.
- Highly proficient user of Excel macros, formulas, and API.
- Current juniors in college.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to consider and develop alternative solutions, think outside of the box.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening and the ability to communicate with all levels of clients in both verbal and written form.
- Solid attention to detail, with the capability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Natural curiosity and ability to probe into the depths of processes to detect control and audit matters.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters.
- Demonstrates ability to handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
