The Human Resources Intern supports HR activities and projects, providing assistance with reports, programs, and employee inquiries while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment during a summer internship program.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR Business Partner team and HR stakeholders in client-facing roles
Assist with HR activities such as preparing reports, developing metrics, and supporting HR programs and initiatives
Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR processes and policies
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork in all matters
Contribute to special projects as assigned
Deliver a final presentation to the team and leadership at the end of the internship
Requirements
Students pursuing their bachelor s degree in Human Resources or a related field
Ability to provide primary support with the HR Business Partner team and with HR stakeholders across the business in a client facing role
Experience dealing with complex administrative tasks
Ability to assist with moderately complex HR activities, including the preparation of reports, developing metrics, supporting HR programs and initiatives as needed
Ability to provide positive customer service by responding to employees and managers inquiries related to HR processes and policies
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, respect, and teamwork in all matters
Ability to assist with special projects as assigned
Ability to give a final presentation to the team and leadership at the end of the internship on August 4th
Core knowledge and skills including strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, proficiency in MS Office Suite Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, attention to detail, time management, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver results
Uphold standards of discretion and confidentiality as well as exercise good judgment and integrity in day-to-day decisions
