Job Description
The Customer Operations Intern will support customer management, process improvement, and data analysis related to renewable energy projects, gaining hands-on experience through a project-based internship in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sensitivity analysis on key performance metrics to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement throughout the customer lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal sales and digital product teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement customer-related initiatives
- Develop and present findings and results from assigned projects to leadership at the end of the internship
Requirements
- Be a first-year student in a graduate program in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Possess advanced Excel skills, including modeling and data manipulation.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide objectives.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and an interest in renewable energy.
- Have strong interpersonal skills, including the willingness to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas.
- Be self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, showing up, being present, and eager to dive into the workday.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- Be willing to ask questions, speak up, and take initiative.
- Be able to perform sensitivity analysis on key performance metrics to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal sales and digital product teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement customer-related initiatives.
- Be assigned to an individual project and present results to leadership at the end of the summer.
- Meet the program timeline, which runs from June 1 to August 7, 2026.
- Be available to work in a hybrid role based in the San Diego or San Francisco Office, with in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Be willing to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, as Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position.
- Be able to perform the duties of the internship as described, including participating in networking and learning events.
