Job Description
The Analyst will support the Capital Markets team in project finance and valuation for renewable energy projects, focusing on debt and equity transactions. Responsibilities include refining financial models, collaborating with various departments, and assisting in the structuring and negotiation of financing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine reusable Excel-based project financing model templates.
- Maintain standardization and consistency in project financing models.
- Develop and improve data automation for project financing models.
- Implement financing terms in project financing model templates.
- Communicate underwriting standards to internal stakeholders.
- Support structuring, negotiation, and closing of various financings.
- Help architect analytical and data infrastructure for project financing analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with capital providers.
- Support financing processes to secure suitable sources of capital.
- Participate in due diligence, modeling, documentation, negotiation, and closing of transactions.
- Represent the project finance team in internal discussions.
- Support presentations and reports on transaction status to management.
- Advise the development team on financing terms and assist in new project development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science with business or finance experience, OR Finance, Business, or Economics degree with coding or data analytics experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in energy project finance, with preference for U.S. renewable energy project finance.
- Energy or infrastructure industry experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Project Finance modeling experience, specifically discounted cash flow with multiple parties.
- Experience creating reusable Excel templates, instead of single-use purpose spreadsheets.
- Understanding of data tables and databases.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide objectives.
- Ability to handle numerous activities and set priorities.
- Ability to coordinate and work as a team as well as contribute individually.
- Experience collaborating with internal deal teams as well as external consultants and lawyers to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise manner.
- Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).

Salary Range: 80,000 - 100,000 USD
