Job Description
The Senior Manager, Site Readiness AI Data Centers is responsible for preparing data center sites for construction by coordinating permitting, utilities, land requirements, and preconstruction activities, ensuring timely approvals and project readiness through cross-functional collaboration and regulatory engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance sites from early-stage development to construction readiness
- Coordinate permitting, entitlements, utilities, land requirements, and preconstruction activities
- Ensure sites are fully approved, de-risked, and aligned with construction timelines
- Lead site readiness efforts across development, design, construction, legal, and external partners
- Engage with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies to facilitate approvals and resolve issues
Requirements
- Experience in advancing sites from early-stage development through construction readiness, including coordinating permitting, entitlements, utilities, land requirements, and preconstruction activities.
- Ability to ensure each site is fully approved, de-risked, and positioned to meet construction timelines.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Development, Design, Construction, Legal, and external partners to align and progress workstreams in parallel.
- Ability to support engagement with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies, in coordination with Development leadership, to facilitate timely approvals and resolve issues impacting project delivery.
- Candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy, as the role may involve operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites.
- Possession of relevant experience in site readiness, permitting, utilities, land acquisition, or related fields in data center or infrastructure development.
