Job Description
The Summer Analyst Associate Internship at Charles River Associates offers candidates with a background in quantitative research the opportunity to work on live client consulting projects, conducting economic and financial analyses while gaining professional development and mentorship in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic and industry research to understand case issues
- Perform financial and economic analyses or create valuation models
- Program, build models, and perform regression analyses using relevant languages
- Develop familiarity with data sources for analyses
- Review and summarize analyst reports, client documents, and industry trade press
- Assist in producing research summaries, expert reports, and findings presentations
- Ensure reliability of analysis through quality control review
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree candidates graduating December 2025 or Summer 2026 with an academic focus on quantitative research in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial, and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
- Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS ArcPy, or Cloud computing Databricks Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, AWS.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $30 - $36 per hour
Work schedule: 3 to 4 days a week in the office, with additional remote work options at certain times of the year
